Working Groups: Creating Meaningful Change, Together
In 2021, we established four unique working groups to address key areas of interest in the advocacy community – identified via direct advocate feedback – focused on:
- Health Equity: Racial & Ethnic Health and Healthcare Disparities
- Health Equity: Access to Care
- Patient Voice/Patient-Focused Drug Development (PFDD)
- The Future of Advocacy
Our Working Groups meet throughout the year to progress actions that will address needs and opportunities in these focus areas. We welcome you to learn more about each group below, check out content from previous meetings, and participate in one or more of these Working Groups to use your voice, lead and learn.

Living a full life after a diagnosis, or managing a chronic disease, is a relatively new focus in global health and healthcare. To celebrate National Cancer Survivor Month in the United States (U.S.) in June, we will delve into the topic of living with a disease and explore what this means for individuals around the world.
